About Trip

Annapurna region of Nepal is considered as the diversified paradise of nature’s splendors and people’s cultural grandeurs. Among many quintessential trekking routes of Annapurna region the Annapurna Circuit Trekking is the most superlative one. It is completely different in terms of the starting point for the trekking. Almost all trekking trip of Annapurna region starts from Pokhara but it ends in this place. Search Treks & Expeditions has identified the latest itinerary for this trip. Lots of hilly roads construction in the area has decreased the walking trail. Therefore, our travel planners created the updated itinerary to protect the essence of wonderful trekking in these parts of Nepal.

Annapurna Circuit Trekking never fails to surprise trekkers. If trekkers start their trip from the hilly temperate forest belt then they traverse through alpine forests and eventually reach the place where only Himalayas exist. Waterfalls, tranquil hamlets, monasteries, multiethnic people villages and splendid mountain vistas are major features of this trek in Nepal. Apart from these spectacular attractions trekkers can experience the mini mountaineering feeling once they cross the Thorong La Pass. This is probably the most talked and famous high altitude Himalayan passes of the world. Bus trip to Timang from Kathmandu via Besisahar takes place in first phase. From this small village walking journey starts. We will trek to Manang passing by villages of Chame and Pisang. Manang village is very crucial in terms of successful completion of this trip. Proper acclimatization is required and Manang hosts this activity. We will stroll around the village or visit the monastery. Getting geographical understanding, culture and traditions of Mananges could be rewarding aspects other than just walking on the trail.

From Manang we will head to Thorong Phedi via Yak Kharka. Trail consists of grassy meadows where cattle graze and sometimes you can observe the high altitude wildlife on the way as well. From Yak Kharka the trail might be treacherous and rugged rocky. Trekkers will face challenging hurdles on the day when they cross the Thorong La pass. From top of Thorong La Pass one can relish breathtaking scenery of mountains. Across the pass lays the sacred Muktinath temple. Equally significant for Hindus and Buddhists the temple is located majestically with Mt. Neelgiri on backdrop. Trip never stops with us. We create more stupendous activities further down the road as well. Most of the trekking agency of Nepal ends it at Jomsom but we have incorporated the Poon Hill and Ghandruk area in the itinerary. Trekkers will love to explore most of the Annapurna region while trekking in Nepal with Search Treks & Expeditions.
